I think there were different 'types' of Honda dealer, verno/clio/primo who sold different ranges of cars. I think they split them out by class/price point or something like that. I think most Japanese manufacturers did the same in Japan? I'm sure Toyota did at least.

Verno were for the quality/sportier models.
Clio was Accords and the like IIRC and Primo was kei cars.
