Yep. On that note though, something I didn't know until just now though (that is very handy)...
My mate has had his 964 on classic insurance and a company car for the last 5 years.
He's just jacked his job in, given back the company car and is getting a little run about for a short while.
He had 9 years ncb when he got the company car, hence normally that would have lapsed by now (2 years max) but when he sold his own previous runabout, he had the ncb 'attached' to his classic policy.
They didn't take it into account for premiums (as said) but it did keep it 'live', so they have just issued him a proof of ncb cert saying 9 years, so he can use that.

Depends how many instalments it is. If it is 4 then not so bad, but only if a credit firm is used. Brokers can't charge for their own instalment plan anymore :(
