Lot of fun for not a lot of money, I would say...

Could be an excellent buy. A brief mention of the engine might have been useful, though.

Ditto Sailor. Looks fun.

I was trying to guess if it was a VTEC from the look of it, not knowing CRX lumps.

Looks like either a B series (the original B series as in 3g ludes, not as in more modern civics) or an F22?

Erm. Ok. :? . (Thinks "Isn't the F22 a plane?")

Ta :D

Quite old fashioned looking cam covers, no?

f22 might well be a plane, but the f22b is a twin cam non-vtec 2.2 lump (in ludes).
I might well be remembering how it looks wrong... But I think the cam cover looks like that? :?

Looks like an old school non-VTEC DOHC D series. The VTEC lumps don't have those ridges on the rocker cover iirc.

In the description it says 'Can be used in various championships, CSCC Tin Tops, 750 MC Roadsports, Civic Cup, Track Day Trophy, VTEC Challenge, CTCRC Pre 93, Nippon Challenge.'

So if it states can be used in VTEC Challenge I'd assume it's a VTEC. But having said this, the engine looks identical to mine which is the F22B :)

It's called the vtec challenge to distinguish it, but it doesn't necessarily have to be a vtec equipped engine.
