Re: you cant get more JDM than this
Hi Guys,
I bought this Prelude today... The poor car has sat for 10 years and has had a horrible shunt in its back (structural damage).
It's a non VTEC and has a F22b engine (UK H23a equipment).
I'm now debating whether to break it or put it back on the road. It's going to require some rear jig repairs on the back, repair or replace bonnet and a full respray to make it look perfect. It's a CAT C too so will require a VIC.
Also it doesn't start, can't hear the fuel pump prime. I will replace the pump and relay at the weekend and see what happens.
I'm shocked to find NO rust on the rear arches and some tiny bubbles on the sunroof!
The lady, Julie who I purchased from did me a good deal as she told me it was a VTEC when it wasn't. Considering it was a 6.5 round journey too.
What do you guys think I should do? Break it or repair it?
Some picy's for you:
Cheers

It's not that bad.. If you have a good garage/space and some spare time then you can get all your money back plus a bit more from breaking this..preludemanh22 wrote:bloody hell glad I never went to get that
Being a JDM (I have less knowledge of 4Gs), I'm sure it has power folding mirrors, climate control, wind deflectors, roof deflectors, Zebra mats etc etc and those wheels are nice too.

Ooft that's quite a punt up the rear!
Repairable, but you'd be doing it for love (and because no rust) not to make your money back.
vic's are no longer required.
