Agreed, if you want red badges then fit 'em - it's your car. And they do look good on black and white ludes.

I would counsel against fitting any Type-R stickers though :lol: (not that you suggested you would).

Others on here have said that the ebay ones fade to pink, so yep, watch out for that.

Thanks for all the replies, will stick with the original badges for now.

I have seen a few pics of Preludes with the red badges and they do suit the car, even though they are only meant to be on Type Rs! Guess I'll wait and see if I change my mind in a few months after sorting out the more important bits on the car.

I took the rear H badge of my '96 civic befoe i sold it, and sprayed the badge Milano red and fitted it to the prelude :) i personally love it :) can kinda see it here in my profile http://www.ludegeneration.co.uk/profile ... 10173.html

Don't listen to the prelude purists. It's your car, make it look how you want. I personally like the red H badge. I've had seven ludes now and had the red H on 6 of them. Also had type R badges on a few and a type S badge on my latest one which I have been slated for.........but I like them.

I've always got the eBay ones. The red actually looks decent. What you need to do to stop the misting and red flaking is seal the edges (where plastic meets chrome) with a clear glue/silicone to stop water getting in. A really thin small amount is needed.
