Almost all white cars have yellow in them Either a reduced yellow oxide, brilliant yellow or mustard.
Championship white has more yellow than frost white.
Both premium white and white diamond have yellow and mustard in their base coats but white diamond has pearl blue in its pearlescent layer here premium white does not.

 I started this one because my 4th gen one upset 5th gen owners. I said that was as far as I'd go though and any other gen owners could stop be lazy asses and start their own gen thread!!! :poke:

(nothing to do with me being too lazy myself and not knowing the pain codes for anything pre 4th gen, of course...) ;-)

Crunchy, stop sulking and feeling left out, wurly, stop being a pig. For what its worth, my 3g '90/91 Honda sales brochure gives customers 4 colour options: Frost White, Phoenix Red, Sabrina Grey Metallic, Hampshire green metallic, Madison Blue Metallic. Strangely, the white, a base colour, always seems to have been the most popular, I've seen a couple of red ones in the past, but can't recall seeing any of the 3 metallic paint options on the road. Perhaps the 3 g's looked nicer in base , rather than metallic colours. The Honda code for the white is NH538, as indicated on the door pillar., To confirm ratty's details, my local paint factor offered me 3 different shades of Frost White, depending on the 'ageing' that may have taken place over 20 odd years exposure to sunlight. I chose Shade 1, factory finish, and it was perfect. The differing 'aged' shades are accomplished by adding small quantities of yellow to the mix. My '91 sales brochure shows most photos of the car either in white or red, there is one in Sabrina Grey metallic, which does look rather sweet.
