OEM 5th Gen Wind Deflectors

Post by Lankysod07 » Thu Sep 24, 2015 10:19 am

Hello All,

So I found a guy close to me in Welwyn garden city that had various bits off a 5th gen for sale, however I had no idea what they might be.

I went to this guys house and was very pleased with what I found, see below:

Silver Motegi side skirts in brilliant condition ready to bolt straight on
2x silver electric mirrors, again good condition
Front strut brace, solid state one that just bolts in rather than having the two flappy mounts
2 x rear lights, good condition
Set of OEM wind deflectors good condition however, some of the clips are broken and one has no seal
Red rocker cover which is in good condition but could with a wee refurb as the skirts scratches part of it in his van unfortunately
full set, front and back RED (I think there type S) **Wurly corrected me, there SIR seats with door cards in stunning condition, need a slight clean but amazing!

I have two questions regards these items:

Anyone got any ideas how I can save the OEM wind deflectors, is the one with the missing seal gone cause big problems, and would sticky back tape secure the deflector enough to hold strong?

How much would the Type S seats be worth if I decide to sell them on?

Ill upload some pictures over the weekend. :D

If the seats are oem red half leather, they are from an sir, rather than a type-s.

As you can see one of them has the seal across the top still but only just its hanging off really...maybe I can repair that and stick it back down, but the other has no seal....any ideas?? It's gonna whistle without a seal me thinks...
