Sun roof swap
Hi folks,
I have a glass sun roof to drop in to my 4th gen. I have the whole set up including the shade and slider mechanism, but for the minute I just want to swap the glass panel in to my 4g slider mechanism. How do I do that though Don't want to start pulling things apart to find out and break something in the process
Cheers,
Josh

I want to do this too, just to find a donor assembly though!
I think two of the holes in the 4G mountings that secure the panel are slightly off, you have to re-drill them.
And I seem to recall you might have to cut off the end-stop tabs. Could be wrong though. The above write-up is good.

Some tips on this thread, I think you'd need to lower the front of the internal mounting assembly to make it flush:

How did you get on with that?jjmartin349571 wrote:Cool, I was thinking of slotting the 4g slider brackets tomorrow so hopefully that should do the trick.
Im going to fit 5th gen glass sunroof onto my new 4th so interested to see.
Guide in prelude Power that was mentioned says you need the following for 4th Gen conversion

Check out my profile thread here, You should be able to see what I did there to retain the 4th gen mechanism but use the 5th gen panel.
PP is right in that you need the 5th gen glass moonroof, bracket covers (not essential but make it look tidier), and brackets. The brackets are just needed as templates to drill the 4g ones from memory.
Let me know if you need any more info mate.
