brake warning lamp/ all sorted

Sorry to butt in on the thread. Changed the bulbs and nothing. Drivers side brake light still wont work. Lights work fine just the brake light is playing games with me lol.
Whats the next step to sorting this pain in the arse problem?

i dnt have a clue mate i just changed my bulbs and problem solved some of the other members will probably be able to help you out,hope u get it sorted though mate

Can anyone else tell me the next best thing to try to sort this out? I really need this sorted as its a criminal offence to drive your car knowing you have a broken brake light? Help please?

Check the connections on the bulb plugs are clean and tight. Do both sides use a common earth point, or is there a different earth point for left/right brake lights? If different, give the earth point a good inspection and take it apart/clean/reassemble.
