Not sure what's happened, but I noticed that my ignition key surround light has stopped working.
The bulb is OK (I swapped it out into the ashtray to check).
As far as I can make out it's controlled directly from the ICU, with nothing in between. Bit dark now, but my last option is to check the connector plug under the dash is firm when it gets light again tomorrow.
Other than that, any ideas why it may have packed in? I like my wee green circle.
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.

This whole area for some reason seems to be an intermittent nightmare on these cars. And it's such a simple circuit, I can't understand why!
My ignition switch light works fine on the door switch, but the interior and puddle lights don't (either side, except occasionally the puddle light works on the passenger side but the interior light still doesn't). None of that makes any sense...
Let us know what you find as the cause!

Well, I was in about the wiring this afternoon and it seems I'm getting no power to the key light.
I'm beginning to think I must have somehow fried that circuit in the ICU, which appears to be separate from all the rest of the bits that it controls. Everything else works fine - all the warning buzzers and so on.
I guess I'll have to get one off a scrap car and try that. Will post separately for ICU identification in case I pull out the wrong thing.
