I have the same thing with my stereo....?! I noticed if I turn the lights on during the day it auto dims..... Annoying...

Aftermarket? If so can be changed in the settings.

bit of a thread revival, but. i knew there was something wrong with my fans performance.

i happened on a facebook post about panel filters on 5th gens.......


5th gens have panel filter........ :shock: :o

whipped the glove box out and loe and behold a plastic cover hiding a pair of panel filters.

i pulled them out and they are only the bloody originals dated wk10/1996 and my Christ, the debris that fell out of the slot, like black soot and flies and leaves, yuk

so here is one picture.

you 5th genners need to check your filters.

oh and now my fan works a treat. although still need to fill the filters cages with new filters.

is it a massive job to swop the standard ac controls to climate control, as it looks much better

Pollen filter Sam, or just an ordinary filter? I take it 4th gens don't have them? :? (never looked in the manual for that TbH)
