Key stuck in ignition - need some help on this one

Right I've checked and took out the cup holder and there's a black box in there but looks like it's for an alarm as green light flashing? But my last prelude had the same clocks was told that auto clocks were used as couldn't source a manual 1? I'll ask the vtec specialist on Friday and let you guys know

take the steering cowl off and you should be able to release the key there is something on the ignition switch that locks and releases it

no its not the barrel causing it if its been converted its the wiring loom all the barrels are the same if I remember right if you unplug the barrel it will release the key don't quote me though
