I am having the same problem on my 98 prelude I discovered today while driving at 70 odd on the motorway.

I knew that the ignition was a bit iffy but didn't realise that the car could potentially just stop though.

How do I find out which part I need for my car or do I just ask the guy at my Honda dealership?
Don't worry man, happy to help
Just go to the Honda dealer, call ahead sometimes they'll have to order it. Becouse it's an regular problem, just mention the ignition switch and the symptoms they will know what you need. I payed 68euro for the part.

*edit
Don't go cheap aftermarket on this. Aftermarket companies might use the old ,pre-recall, blueprints.

Unfortunately the recall has already been done on the car

I have ordered the part up, going to attempt to fit it myself which should prove interesting :o

Found a guide online there so hopefully will be okay.

You'll be fine buddy ;) whip the steering column cowling off, then unplug the blue connector, then it's just 2 screws to take out. There's 1 at the side, and 1 behind the switch that us a little awkward to get to. Should take you about 15 minutes ;)

Its dead easy just did mine..just two screws and connector and its off..... and back on again...long thin x head screwdriver from under the dash near steering wheel for the hard to get screw
took me ten mins max...including removing the steering column cover x5 screws
