Cheers Wurly, car doesn't have srs tho being a preface JDM.
Car did have cruise control tho and thats been removed from the engine bay, the control module is still inside the car tho.
I've rejoined the red/blue connector and one next to it, still don't have a seat belt warning light on the dash but from my reading that's because UKDM didn't have this feature and was JDM only?
UKDM dash loom going by this http://www.ludegeneration.co.uk/electri ... ilit=dials if thats any help?
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.

Yep, seat belt warning was not on UKDM cars.
Re: SRS though, I'm afraid it's not right to say that JDM pre-face didn't have them.
Lisa's is a pre-face (and K plate) JDM BB1 and it has airbags (both sides), so they definitely did come with them, either as an option or perhaps even as standard on a fully loaded BB1.

Just to add some more info to the thread, I've had a further look at the wiring diagrams after some conversations with Newkid regarding making the clocks dim with the lights on.
Looking at the wiring diagrams, there is a relay in the bottom right hand of the under bonnet fusebox, called the dimmer relay, from that relay it follows through to the combination light switch (stalk). Main manual page 23-231.
This then goes into E27 as a red/black wire on the fuel/temp gauges to dim the cruise control light. Page 23-154
It also goes into D7 as a red/black on the fuel gauges to make them dim. Page 23-155
It is odd though, that the feed to dim the speedo clocks comes direct from the dimmer relay (as far as I can tell) via a different coloured wire, rather than the combination light switch as the other do.
All the dimming is done internally within each unit rather that just getting a lower power feed, the clocks need to see a live at these wires to function as intended.
@Wurlycorner, I believe the reason mine all fell into place is because it used to be an auto, which would have had a feed to dim the auto selector light on the stock setup, which I ended up using for the manual clocks dim function. Yours won't have this in the loom (assumption). I think you have 2 choices, either run a fresh wire from the dimmer relay to C3, or splice into D7 on the fuel gauges for a suitable feed. I think @Newkids solution will be similar too, though why the fuel gauges are not dimming will need investigating via testing and tracing the red/black D7 wire in the first instance.
Wurlycorner, though I am still a little confused that you have an A4 wire Red/Blue, which you have cabled to C3, and it still does not work, unless its in the loom but not attached at the other end, have you tested this to see if it goes live with the lights on? Maybe a 3rd option is to try a different under bonnet dimmer relay to give that A4 (now C3) wire a feed?
