So I bought these for about £5 from eBay - ceramic plugs so won't melt again:

My headlights were doing all kind of funny things with the melted plugs on. And yes, if you have a real fast flashing indicator then the chances are one of your indicator bulbs has gone somewhere along the line.
***UPDATE***
So, it seems if you have melted headlight plugs and you just swap in some ceramic ones without first trying to solve the issue, you end up with this...

The answer is, do not buy cheap-o MTEC bulbs from eBay.
