Intermittent Cruise Control

Post by c_doughty1 » Tue Feb 25, 2014 2:03 pm

Any ideas....
My cruise control on my 94 lude is a bit mental some days it works sometimes it doesn't, I'm a little bit confused to what could be causing it?

Check the switches behind the clutch and brake pedals, preferably with a multimeter.

I get this too.
I just switch it off and back on at the main cruise control switch and that normally cures it.

Like Merlin, I've never investigated it either!

I've not got one, I should be able to get hold of one. Excuse my lack of knowledge but when testing this what abnormalities am I looking for?
