Dash Lights
Morning folks
I recently attempted to change my steering wheel for a DC2 one, failed and have taken advice on what other Honda models can fit.
Anyways, since doing so, as we had to disconnect the airbag, the light is now on the dash. Any ideas how I can have it turned off? My friends garage has a diagnostic machine, but with the car being so old doesn't have the modern port and he doesn't have an adapter.
What's the process of connecting to a 5th gen? Can I buy an adapter that will fit to his machine or is there something else I can buy, I haven't actually changed my wheel yet, so I'm not too fussed short term but I really would like to turn it back off once the new wheel is fitted.
Thanks
Gareth

don't use paperclips, use a piece of wire
you have to plug it then unplug it etc..

exactly what I did.derrick1988 wrote:I done this procedure not long ago and used two separate pieces of wire, one in each of the two ports that way when shorting it within 4 secs you can just nip two loose bare wire ends with you fingers, saves lots of hassle trying to unplug then plug back in carry on.
