Thanks fellas. Regarding the dog, I did ask again at the security gate, and so far no one has come forward and I've had no phone calls so perhaps it was a stray. I just hope it's okay.

Hi Iain, I thought about what you'd said, and had a good look at the lights as it was beginning to get dark last night. Here's the side lights on, but I can see no 'glow' from the dipped bulbs.
