To clarify - that's In Car Entertainment - not frozen water

I didn't want to muddy the waters of Jdeale84's post, as I think this is a different issue.
Long and short of it, can a now known failing alternator cause the SRS light to stay on? I replaced the battery on Friday and the light stayed on. Had the alternator issue diagnosed yesterday (new one coming today) and tried the SRS reset in the evening but it stayed on constantly no matter how I tried the reset.

Is the SRS the only warning light that you have on?
If so, I think that's unlikely.

Have you pulled the diagnostic code stored in the SRS system?

I have seen similar on a rover 600 once (Which is practically an accord). The battery went flat, and the SRS light persisted (the flash code was low system voltage warning or similar).

I think something like 20 engine cycles cleared it.

To be honest my Type S throws some weird errors...like the ATTS symbol staying on when I used LED brake bulbs...nearly crapped myself thinking the dreaded failure had happened

Just ordered myself one of these https://hondaspareparts.co.uk/products/ ... 3e2e&_ss=r

I was going to replace the alternator myself, but as a garage local to my workplace is relatively cheap and very reliable, I'm getting them to do it for me. I'm waiting for the replacement before I go full on with the SRS diagnosis

Watch this space basically

Blimey! An official diagnostic plug!!!
I'll be honest and say I didn't even know they existed. Sexy stuff.

Great that you got the other stuff fixed.
