i would have loved to take my old BB4 down the strip at santa pod - maybe make it down one day in the BB1

The amenity facilities at the pod aren't great (though they are improving) but the strip itself and the infrastructure to support it, is really good, they do take excellent care of it - every time I watch videos from US drag strips, I'm always left thinking what crap quality they are in comparison (wierd especially considering how big drag strip racing is out there, compared to the UK).

I was pleased, particularly since quicker than before.
Don't know how that compares with others with similar cars though, tbh.

I'm gonna start a thread for drag strip times, with bands for carious states of tune, so we can all compare (as a bit of fun, rather than a gentleman's sausage size competition!). The only one I know who had times listed on here to keep track of, was Jon, with his three ludes.

good idea!! mine should be on my build thread i think, or i can drag them out as ill keep them somewhere at home. ill be at the bottom of that list dont worry as i love going down the pod but im aweful

i know Dino has some good times, fithotblonde should have his times somewhere too
