16" Motegi wheels

Fancied a change to 16" for a while now and since I'm gonna need new tyres before summer is over it's the ideal time!

Been at my dad's a bit recently so been able to do a few bits and give the ol girl a bit of TLC, walking out to this is the morning makes me actually really like the Motegis. Just a shame they aren't wider/more aggressive offset.

Needs the centre caps from your no. 2 Prelude though

I know they can be had elsewhere, but how many pennies are we talking papí?

Since its obvious I won't find 16" Motegis though I will have to look at other options.

You can solve that problem by hollowing out the back of the spokes with a Dremel

Are they really that much more? Where I've seen on Camskill there doesn't seem to be a major difference, maybe a couple of quid. I know over 4 that could end up being a bit more though.

Yeah I've thought about them

Been trying to figure out how far I'd ideally need to space to be happy, then it's deciding on what ones to get. Been peeping the Eibach ones as heads rate them but at ~£90-100 for 2 (as far as I can tell) that could be quite costly. Might work out cheaper in the long run to just get something of a decent offset.

Nitin I'm not too worried about weight tbh, I have aircon and a sunroof ffs. A few KG on a wheel wont be too bad. Plus I only weigh around 60kg myself so I'm already weight saving over some of the more voluptuous members on here.

It's unsprung weight/rotational mass on wheels, which is why it's so important to minimise it.
