Blimey! A bloke with more old Citroens than me!

Found something cool online? Post a thread about it in here.

Realising I now (and kind of always have) fancied a BX16v, CX GTi and one of the later DS's with the nicer "Faired in" lights. (I think I'm getting over the SM, strangely). Of the more recent ones, was it the 7 or 8 that was really long and a bit rakishly elegant?
I have this week off work and might go and visit them all (really should, because I haven't seen some of them for over 3 years  ) and take pics... Might even try and start the diesel that's on the front drive (that'll schmoke like a muffin!)

Re: the most recent ones, do you mean the c6?

Yes, you are the chief provocateur here

....and yep, that's the fella, thanks! Look great in black, if a bit...

Correct on the green blood - LHM (far nicer than brake fluid).
The spheres you could undo a valve and regass in situ like that only came ready fitted on the DS, because they improved the diaphragm material for the CX IIRC. Some people have retro-fitted the valves to spheres on CXs, but I've never bothered. If they're going down that much (that they need re-gassing on a fairly regular basis), the diaphragm's gone porous, so they should be replaced anyway IMHO.

Bootlid was also GRP on BX's IIRC?

Lol
Yep, the C6 is the only really interesting/desirable Citroen since the XM/Xantia IMHO. The rest are mainly just euro boxes, albeit their styling is generally more interesting. The C5 is actually a very good car though, to be fair (series 1 just looked crap)

Agree. The XM was/is pretty cool/quirky.
