Cheers fellas. I had hoped to fire her up on Saturday but serious underestimation on how time consuming the little jobs are have really held us up. For example it took 3rdGenSteve a couple of hours to fashion a new downpipe gasket for my Fujitsubo and trying to find all the bolts that came out of the engine bay

. Really the only things that need doing is passenger drive shaft in (cant find my intermediate shaft bolts

), engine bay fluids, swap fuel pump and she is ready.

Ive found a spare set of intermediate shaft bolts
and before you say it theyre not the ones that you have lost

theyre attached to the shaft from my old grey lude

I am going down there tonight to rip the place apart. There is a whole host of bits that have been mislaid.

A quick pic of the bay now that there are only two tiny things to sort; fit my new manifold nuts, and find my rocker cover cable holders.

Cassis Red Pearl rocker cover to continue my gold / black / maroon combo, plus a bit of silver

The gold certainly isnt as in your face like it was when it was just a bare block.

It still needs a bit of work, fluids in, some body work still to be put on all before it needs the LSD broken in. Then MOT'd, taxed, maybe wheels aligned, then 300 miles on it to break in the clutch, all before it can get spanked
