Or maybe it's been unplugged since you got the car? All the UKDM's I've dealt with have had this setup.

Very well then! Seems a bit pointless, probably why they dropped it!

On a UK 3G, pulling the dim/dip fuse means you can have your sidelights on without the lights popping up :)

Yup - been trying to figure that out myself. Not good for the HID's to be flashed. Sadly I think it's wired that way :(

Might do that on my Accord 8-)

On a 2G lude that's the standard set up, sidelights on with the lights down on click one, then click 2 pops the lights and puts the dip beams on.

Yep it is, and it's a contact within the indicator stalk that does it.

I've got a spare stalk around here somewhere, to open up and see if the contact can be broken. Not got around to it yet.

Or on the UKDM 2.3 I owned before that :bat: :P

Interestingly I didn't know any had it, but looking at the wiring diagrams in the manual, you're obviously right that some did have. Wonder what defined which ones did and which didnt? :?

The period of time for which it was law was around 89-90 I think? (some s2 CX's had dim-dip and then it was dropped again and they stopped making them in 91) So that pre-dates 4th gens, which doesn't make sense as to why some would have it?

They were building 4th gens in 1991, that's when mine was built ;) nightmare for insurance though, they can never find the correct model on their database as a result
