:? Those years were from memory... I've looked up as a result and I was wrong, it was slightly earlier. (But that does add to the case as to why are they on any 4th gens? )

Amusingly, the reason the crap/annoying things were gotten rid of over here is apparently because the EU prosecuted the UK government and made them illegal!

I've found there are 2 relays in the under bonnet fuse box. One is the dimmer relay, and the other is lighting relay. Not sure which one to swap out for my problem, but I have spares of both so will try them and report back...

My 4th gen wiring is from a 95 uk bb1 and I am positive the headlights came on with the side lights, its just I noticed the other day they weren't...

ok. I swapped out each of the relays mentioned above, and it seems nothing has changed. :( ( I didn't have the engine running...not sure if the low beams would come on without the engine running)

On the first click of the lights I get just the corners, then on 2nd click I get headlights, and I can flash high beams or toggle them on or off.

Will have another play tomorrow when it eventually stops raining...

There is still the dip resistor thingy in the drivers side bumper, I haven't had chance to find this, although its mentioned and pictured in the manual.

That answers the question as to what the small heat sink box was that I took off of the new bumper for Lisa's lude a while back,then...

So if that's what's knackered, it means I should have a spare somewhere. :? God knows where though, would need to rout around to find it :?
