I'd forgotten...

Post by wurlycorner » Wed Nov 27, 2013 10:27 pm

Why I hate getting late night mainline trains out of Liverpool St.

The 2 city blokes next to me have swiftly reminded me... :tosser: :tosser:

EDIT: mainline trains being those that head up into what city folk consider as 'the countryside' e.g. Kelvedon, manningtree, Ipswich, rather than branch line places like Crackton (Clacton) or Chavsville (Braintree). They also evidence their living in the country by sporting Barbour quilted jackets while walking round the city.

Disclaimer: the opinions above are entirely my own and likely to offend, however they are based on ten years of commuting with these pricks, so they are fact!

I would have minded that far less than the complete arrogant drivel they were spouting in their game of whose gentleman's sausage was the most dangly between their legs...

Urban farmers, I like that

I despise public transport that much I choose to cycle to uni in the rain rather than get the bus from the end of my road

Don't like buses (though I ended up on one of the new london buses on Tuesday night and was pleasantly surprised/impressed, right up until it terminated early and chucked me off into the cold nght air just off the Strand :troll: )

:?

Trains though, are great - just sometimes the people on them aren't

We all know you're just anti-social in general though Donald, so it's not surprising you use a solo form of transport!!! ;)

Not antisocial, it's just inferior. Why would I pay for a service with no guaranteed seat that takes longer to complete the same journey, and I have to wait for it?

I avoid travel on trains and busses at all costs for this very reason, plus the fact that if I am forced to travel by this means I seem to have a magnetic attraction for window lickers.... :?
