used to collect these things in the late 90's early 2000's and had a lovely example the same colour as this 1

when you think its main competitor was the capri its hard to imagine how anybody bought a capri.
standard equipment, power steering, electric windows and sunroof, air con, limited slip diff, alloy wheels and that stunning digital dash that you could change between kmh or mph at the flick of a switch used to love em and they were just like ludes, worthless. there have been a fair few rather expensive ones on ebay recently now i have got rid of all mine. still have a pile of panels and some other crap including a dash left in a lock up but no cars sadly.
have a rather funny story about an automatic i used to auto test but its far to much to type out, maybe at a show one day i'll tell it.

Stupid snobbery that people thought Jap cars were cheap crap back then (when of course the opposite was true)tramroadmotors wrote:when you think its main competitor was the capri its hard to imagine how anybody bought a capri.
There's always a big Supra turnout at JAE, btw. I might maybe get my pics uploaded from that one day...
