JDM radiator cap - 4th gen

I need another one. I am getting a bit of leakage

Signs of leaking on the top of the rad (from the cap) and the occasional whiff of coolant.

Anyone know of an aftermarket cap that will fit JDM style radiators? I have never tried to fit my 5th gens rad cap to it

No probs dude. It is all trial and error, especially in the case of my 4th gen

Things are put under a lot of stress in that car.

Previously I have had newly fitted 2nd hand drive shafts that gave out in less than a month. A rad cap is small beans

What's the difference?

I'm pretty sure I have a spare rad cap you can have for nowt if it's what you're after? It's just an OEM one though, standard pressure.

Didn't JDM and UKDM come with different rads, Denso or Toyo depending on market?

Either way, if you want new:

19045-PCA-004 (Toyo)
19045-PAA-A01 (Denso)

yep thats right Donald
Theres a type d and type f - think the JDM one is the type D.
i always wanted a spac rad cap (think thats made by piaa) as there was a button the the top of it which you could depress to vent a bit of pressure after a fast run - you might want to look for something like that Merlin

not sure I've noticed a difference between the caps on my ukdm and Lisa's jDM?

Yeah there is a difference. I bought a spoon? (i think) one off someone on here type F, didn't fit.
Sitting in my garage now, so if thats the type you need your welcome to it.

I have no idea what it had in there originally as I have a Rover 600 rad in there now. Vanzep told me when he look at it that I need a JDM rad cap and the JDM rad cap I got off GJMHONDA2012 fit fine.

Thanks for the offer Mart I think I need a type D. Now that I know what I am looking for I can look on the internet. When you put type D in goggle it seems to bring back some good hits
