I was thinking the Evo doesn't look at all quick through the corners? Just a point and squirt merchant? Maybe I've got the wrong impression though...

:? Nitin, I'm well surprised how smoky your lude is? How many miles has it done?

He said it was smoky  . IMO the evo must be pretty easy to just point and boost (although I haven't driven one :? ) but surely the ludes would be more fun to drive :? ??? I know mine was  8-)
One life, LIVE IT! Get VTEC, LOVE it. Drive a Honda and ENJOY it.

It's a defence mechanism that came on type s, it was his first time on track and he saw the white beast bearing down on him and engaged it

@mercutio - what have you actually had done to your engine so far, as I've seen the JSRC and ITB's on your build thread but not sure what has been fitted and tuned so far? :?
well I have changed it a couple of times in the past couple of months I hoiked the built engine in with the throttle bodies and ran it with the emerald management system it came with it was really strong and very powerful it made mincemeat of an r32 gtr but the tune wasn't great in my opinion and it would have eventually killed my autobox.
I am not ready to let go of the auto just yet  I have all the bits to go manual but don't have time to do an engine swap and a manual conversion when its my daily, and I don't want 2 cars anymore I have realised if I have 2 cars I lose motivation with the one I am not driving.
So I swapped the jdm engine back in it does have a type S intake k&n and my manifold and exhaust so it is quick the autobox does hold it back though.

Ahhh... Ok - I thought it was a well low miler, that's why I was surprised!

Makes sense now though (I take it nearly all those miles were before you bought it though?!)

I bought it at 160ish. Not worried about the smoke now as I have something planned if the engine dies :hurr:
