It is not all in vain yet. The class structure was only released on Friday and I am yet to see if they are final. There may yet be changes made.

TBH I am disappointed to not be able to see how far I can take the car, I do think the car is capable of a 58s lap (after further investment) and compete for the win but if the inclusion of factory prepared full race cars (doing 55-57s laps) in class D is to continue then I cannot compete with them. If you take away those cars the rest of the class D pack is doing 58-62s laps.

My plan is to make the ballast easily removable so on regular track days I can remove the weight 8-).

 Maybe. It would need to come on a trailer, there is no way I would be able to drive it down

The car passed its MOT yesterday and predictably there were no issues. The car is running great at the moment.

Another development is that I have been speaking with MeisterR UK about them building me a set of race coilovers 8-). Rich from PAW suggested speaking to them. Through discussions so far I can either have a set of modified Zeta-R's or a custom set that approach their £1600 GT-1 coilovers  I'll be finding out all the details soon.

MeisterR UK were supposed to coming on here and offering us a club discount (according to their sales guy that approached us on the stand at JAE 2013). Make sure you prod them about that! :D

Well that's sorted then - you know what you need, plenty of time to get it all organised... See you there! :D

That's frustrating

Just a pity you are right on the edge of the class limits. There will be winners and losers with the changes and seems you are one of the unlucky ones :(

TBH I am not that bothered now. I realised that the cash saved on not increasing the cars whp/T could be spent on suspension instead :P
