Its just one of those things. I had a quick chat with Steve about it and since the box has to come out we are going to take the opportunity to take the engine out as well. Fix a few little leaks and finish off a few little jobs. Plus give the engine and box a new gold paint job

Got to get my priorities right

A quick list for my own benefit, so I don't forget:

Pull engine and gearbox
Send gearbox to PAW and see what needs replaced
Fix minor oil leaks on engine
Service the engine
Paint engine and gearbox
Check coolant system and fittings and replace hoses where needed
Get and fit 50kg of ballast
Get and fit new coilovers
Replace rear upper arms with 5th gen arms
Fit new inner and outer track rod ends
Modify seat brackets to sit lower
Install new powered camera setup
New rear brake pads
Replace rear brake pipes
New brake hoses for the rear
New tyres
New steel wheel nuts
New steering wheel
Get rear arches tarted up
Maybe a quick release system for the front bumper
Decide if I am going to fit the carbon bat wing and carbon front splitter
If there is time paint the interior and cage.

While the engine is out I will be able to get copies of my Fujitsubo gasket fabricated. I will do group buy.

The arches are bubbling a bit now. Remember that it was a cheapo job I got done on them last time. I wasn't going to spend loads of cash getting them done just to put the car into the tyre wall. I don't mind spending a few hundred a year to keep on top of them.

I'll probably need a new gasket myself as I doubt it will want to go back on as good as it did last time.
