Marine water/foul/fuel tanks are always stainless rather than Cu, IME.

As a quick search, try this guy?

spoken to a caravan bod. He cant see any reason that a 2kw water tank cant be fitted with a pumped system.

This is still the easiest solution I can find at the moment but research will continue.

Great build and great link. Unfortunatly its small for what I am asking for. I am working on a 7.5ton lorry that we intend to live in so I am looking for more than the amount available on all these mobile boilers. I want atleast 40l of 45-55c hot water so we can both have a shower one after the other. Better 50l if i can.

Been through pages of moile boilers but I am asking more from the application than they seem to make products for.

A whores bath is fine if you are on a weekend away but for every day?

I have the whole winter to get it finished though so any ideas are more than welcome 8-)

for showers and washing up? yes plenty. IMHO showers are normally betweenn 38-42. 42 being hot and steamy. The tank would be set to just over 60c to protect against things like Legionnaires and then mixed down. reality is that if you want a nice shower you will probs use 30-40 liters of water so a 50l tank for two is only just big enough really. I want to save on cost of heating though so 50l will be plenty when it comes to it.

I have a 400 liter tank under the bed for one  otherwise, say if you are touring there are plenty camp sites around everywhere. you just rockup with your gentleman's sausage up and give them a coule of quid for the tap use. Easy peasy, soon as I am legal to drive the damn thing

As and when we move onto land I would work out a deal with a local farm or campsite to have constant access. A trip once a week to fill up is fine. I'll be doing the same with the gas as its an LPG autogas system rather than a bottle. Though I think I could cook for a couple of years on the size bottle thats under the carriage. He really went to town making it fully self supporting with roadside fillups only.
pics tomorrow before i go too far ripping out all the unneccessaries. three wardrobes so far. lol...

Blimey, is there nothing you guys don't know about?
You lot should be working at CERN on the Hadron Collider as they still haven't found that God particle yet. I bet if they put a question on this site you lot could probably tell them where they're going wrong. ;)
