Cheers dude. I'm buying a new clutch kit and flywheel today :( It should be all ready for the first race but if the wife gives birth in the days before it I wont be there to race :( :( It shouldn't impact the season though.

He merlin!
Nice list!

Can't believe you have to get balast! :D

Are you using waterless coolant? is it an option for you to switch to waterless coolant? You will need to flush the system but I think it will be worth it! As I have no fluids in the car I will use it from the start.

What camera and performance meter are you going to use? Im planning to fit 3 way fused 12V sigaret plugs behind my seat.
So it will make it easy to get a power supply for a camera etc.

Also I'm really starting to think about the rear upperarms.Got the standard ones at the moment but as you and Richy botch think the origional are insufficient I might be better of changing them. My suspention is way to hard so they will take a beating!

Good luck with getting the list done! And supporting your wife!

Yeah adding ballast means I get to race against cars that I want to race against ie FWD NA cars, no 4WD turbo's or factory prepared race cars.

I read about waterless coolant before but I don't have any cooling issues despite having an OEM coolant system.

I use the SJ4000 camera (a Go Pro knockoff) and will be using the VBox Performance Box performance meter. One of the problems I had last year was that I had real problems turning my camera on and off as it as positioned on my roll cage behind me. Due to my seat, suit and helmet I had trouble getting to it. The SJ4000 has a dash cam mode where once power is given to it (when the cable is plugged in) it will start recording in 10 minute sections until the SD card is full. I have a spare switch on my switch panel that I plant to run 12V through to a motorbike USB connector, and plug my camera in there. The plan is that as soon as I flick the switch the camera will begin recording 8-).

The Motorbike USB will clamp on to my roll cage

I've seen that Evans coolant. Looks good. Not cheap though.
Did you use their coolant flush first?

That usb clamp looks great! gonna look for that 2.
I also understand the camera issue, might just rezerve a switch for that too and lay some cabels.
When you are strapped in its impossible to reach behind you :D

I ordered the Evans coolant, its certainly not cheap but as my engine has nog fluids in it I dont need the flush.
I don't see any reason why its dangerous. its non corrosive and will not boil till about 180 deg. So you will get a warning well before it reaches boiling point.
