Wow they look good!
Have you fitted new boots to the ball joints as well, or have they also just cleaned up?

Nope, all original rubber. To be honest I was surprised how well the rubber has lasted, the only parts I'm replacing are front and rear drop links and o/s steering rack boot :)

I've got the last of the suspension bits in the boot of my car ready to blast after a few afternoons on the car... More excitingly though I've started putting her back together - she has a front end again

Annnd, I'd forgotten how awesome she looks, despite the very dodgy paint and unfinished bumper mods  Really happy how the slight mods and relocated number plate look 8-)

Certainly sounds like a plan lad 8-)

After the past few days progress today was a bit of a let down - I'd planned to run her for a while and change the oil but would she start? That would be a no then :(

I checked a few things and quickly found there was no spark, which clearly isn't going to help the combustion process. A few more checks and I've found there's no continuity on the secondary ignition coil but only after accidentally pissing oil all over my nicely steam cleaned gearbox housing

Next I started checking a few other bits and pieces to find my n/s headlight isn't working so I'll have to pull the front end apart again. I can't get at the bulb with the headlight fitted after my HID projector retrofit

Prelude ownership is a roller coaster  Lots to do in the next week if I've got any chance of getting her back together over the bank holiday weekend! I definitely don't want to find any more problems but I have a sneaking suspicion I will

The bumper does remind me of something but I can't quite put my finger on it :?

Just come out of the garage... Finished work at 5 and went straight into the workshop to clean up the last few bits of suspension... What seemed like a few minutes later my phone vibrated - wife calling. It turned out it was half past 8 and my dinner was going cold  Fortunately I was just finishing off the last bit so went home, ate dinner then got painting...

I've also picked up a new coil and fitted it to the dizzy, hopefully that will cure my starting issues 8-)

Shitloads still to do
