Cheers Iain :) yeh good news as its more money, but means I loose the time to drop off/pick up the son in the mornings and afternoons which is a major shame :( im desperately poor and need the extra cash so have no real choice, id be stupid not to take it up and the current company are tighter that Nitin's arse

@drax Sorry for the delay in coming back to you mate. There wasn't a recall as such, but an extended warranty was offered as there was an inherent fault in the exhaust manifold that led to them cracking and diesel exhaust fumes entering the cabin. There are no longer any vehicles which fall under the scope of the warranty, so if a crack were to develop or be present now then it would mean shelling out to get it replaced with the updated manifold.

I can't remember if it only applies to a select run of VIN's, although it was a very common problem with the CL shape - I will dig out the thread from the Accord forum.
