Fuel and Temp gauge 4th Gen JDM - rather urgent

Post by simonc » Sun Mar 06, 2016 10:08 am

Hi gents and hope you're all having a nice weekend. Rather annoyingly, my fuel and temperature gauge unit is kaput. This photo, snapped rather hastily last Friday morning shows the gauges in their death throes.

Now all I'm left with is a big black patch across the dash. Drat. Therefore, I'm putting out an APB to see if anyone's in possession of the unit that they'll sell to me. I have to point out that as my other goodies, bought from a few of you before Christmas, are now on their way over so your price will have to reflect an air-mail cost to Malaysia.

It's a bit of a bummer as I wanted to go to Singapore next week, but without the fuel gauge, I'm rather reluctant. Name your price fellas, I really need this part. Thanks as ever, Si. ;)

Hi Iain, really? I know I've mentioned it before, that once in a blue moon the fuel and temperature gauges have to 'warm' up before they get up to full brightness. They're almost 'dark' when the ignition comes on and then after about two or three minutes they ease themselves gently to full brightness.
Obviously, I've no idea what's happened so it'll be interesting to have a look at them when we replace them (fingers crossed the Post Office cooperates) sometime next week.
I'll let you know. ;)
