That's a dancer that they're no longer available - I've had to replace these before, too
They are the hose that suffers from oil damage.
Looks like this might be an item we need to get a group buy custom made thing going on, in the future.
I probably have a bottom hose.

exactly
no longer available and like you say its the one that is a bit of problem due to damage caused by oil leak from the vtec solenoid or distributor
ive trimmed it before but i really dont like the feel of the pipe its very soft and sticky - i think i cant drive my BB4 anymore until its fixed as its got markedly worse today with coolant visible under the car
the part seems to be available from HondaUSA at around $15 plus shipping and taxes etc just wondering if there might be a similar pipe on a civic D/B series that would do the job????
@wurlycornerlet me know if you have a lower rad hose - it only seems to be leaking where it joins to the bottom rad pipe so might get away with putting a jubilee clip or something on it.
if not then i guess aftermarket silicone one might do- but im not really that keen on them ive seen them split and leak on a few ludes

ok panic over
the coolant hose from the block (item 2) was spraying coolant all over the bay - ive cut another 2 inches off it and fitted it back on with a new clip and all is good - i cant cut anymore off the pipe again as there is no slack left in it now - its a bit tight so not ideal but will do for now.
turns out coolant spraying from this pipe was hitting the back of the lower rad pipe and running down it - making it look like it was leaking but i dont think it is - will keep an eye on it.

The hose is leaking again - looks like i need a new one - cant cut any more off as there is an elbow there....
@wurlycorner i know we can get some from usa its the revision back the way to -J02 but is same part - there is still have stock there. Might be worth thinking about a group buy on these

i have found a supplier that has these pipes i have used them many times to source parts for my jdm toyota soarer lot cheaper than the dealers and they are genuine parts , you need to register and set up an account the parts mainly come from japan so delivery is not the quickest
