Google car covers and micro blisters.

My bonnet did this after being fine for 7 years, 6 months under a cover and it was goosed.
Yeah, but also in fairness, I've had that on cars not kept under cover (for some reason prelude rear spoilers are a nightmare for it  )

My BB4 has been under cover for 2 years and it's worked great - but it was a good quality paint job to start with, of course.

Interesting... I hadn't thought of doing that...

Did they say to you that it could be machine washed?
What kind of cycle do you put it through on? Normal clothes detergent? Fabric softener?
(look at domesticated me there, eh? )

Yes, I remember it was in the destructions when I got it that it's washable, so I just used a bit of common - I think I just put it on a 30deg quick cycle, tiny bit of powder just to work on the baked on bird bum droppings. :D
I'll have a look and see if I can find the actual paperwork.

Here wurlycorner, just found it on their site:

Your new cover will reach you in perfect condition. However, with the passing of time it may become dirty. Care should be taken when washing and the following guidelines should be observed:

Hand wash in cold or hand warm water using a mild washing liquid. Take care to rinse thoroughly several times. Do not use detergents that include bleach or fabric softeners. Line dry until completely dry. Do not iron!

Covers may be washed in domestic washing machines, subject to size. Select a gentle cycle with a maximum temperature of 30 degrees centigrade and use a mild washing liquid as above. Ensure several rinses and a gentle spin speed. Line dry until completely dry.

Never wash in hot water.
Do not dry clean.
Do not tumble dry.
Do not iron.

Just been speaking to the body shop who are currently re-spraying my car and they recommended for me to keep the car without a cover. He said keep it washed, cleaned, waxed and it'll be dirt/scratch free. :?

So i'll not get a cover.. :x (sorry for the waste of thread  )
