Lo All
Just seen a 2.0i 5th Gen Lude for sale on AT with a rear tow hook
It just looks wrong
Cheers

It's just wrong isn't it, on a 2.0 too, assuming it's the blue one.
I have a couple Lexus IS200's too, often see loads for sale with tow hooks. Baffles me. What would you want to try and tow with either a 2.0 Lude or a 150bhp petrol Lexus saloon??

I sold my first lude (UKDM 2.3) to a guy who bought it, planning to tow his caravan with it!
I was a bit... about it, I admit.

Depend what you wanna towing I haven't got one , just did this photos to see how it would looks like & have to say that for me it looks pretty cool
If I will find one with disconnecting ball so you wouldn't see it when don't need it, I will buy it for towing my jetski

Tow Hook
I was considering getting a tow hook so I can take the s660 with me but I don't think the lude will pull 830kg plus trailer.
All tow hooks look wrong on any car. But fit for purpose.

I wouldn't want to tow anything of any weight with a prelude, especially one with 4WS.RattyMcClelland wrote: ↑Sat Jul 18, 2020 5:57 pmI was considering getting a tow hook so I can take the s660 with me but I don't think the lude will pull 830kg plus trailer.
Small box trailer/camping tent trailer/jetski thing ok, but a full on car trailer would be well out. There just isn't enough weight in the back of a prelude and the 4WS would make sway too likely.
Towing an S660 on a tow bar would be ok - no actual weight bearing down/pushing up on the back of the lude.
