oldgits's lude
Think I've asked on a forum before, but just wondering if anyone knows what's happened to it since he died and if it's still around?

This one, for those that didn't know it...

Following pics shamelessly nicked from this post
http://www.hondaclub.lv/forums/viewtopi ... =5&t=15626
which incidentally suggests he sold it before he died

The paint job was stunning

He sold the Prelude quite a while before he died. I know as I was looking to buy it, but I purchased my black JDM 4th with manual gearbox instead as I didn't want an auto box like Dave's had.
It was still owned by the guy who bought it off Dave after his funeral, and I believe it was used until the tax and / or MOT ran out, and then sold on again then.
Lost track of it after that. It's not currently insured so it may be off the road or out the country, hard to tell at times these days.

Dave was a leg-end and no mistake.
i loved the paint personally, just for its individual flair.
not seen this car in the flesh since 2009
Dave was the main reason I became a member on PUK to start with. He was so friendly and into his car I thought a forum full of him would be great. Then I got here and met you 'orrible lot

Yep, saw it at JAE 2008 and 2009 and the latter was the last time I saw it.lewd lude lover wrote:Dave was a leg-end and no mistake.

He was a complete nutter but as you say, really really friendly at shows and loved his ludes.
The paint just looked fantastic in the metal and it must be the best condition lude I've ever seen.
