Cheers rob - the only part that i sent out to be resprayed was the spoon lip - the other panels cleaned up well and i got away with minor touch up repairs which i did myself :) I did the easy job of spraying the nostrils with some Black VHT Vinyl Dye which i got from merlin. Just gave them a light sand and then a couple of coats of the dye. Went on easy and has a good smooth finish - so its easy stuff to use as im normally pretty crap at this sort of thing.

the lude has had it rough over the last week ;violin
smashed up the downpipe in pothole and sick of the single lane speed bumps
Image
Image
then last saturday some tw*t snapped the passenger wing mirror off
Image

both are now fixed :D

the ludes a bit slow on pick up but perfect in vtec - cant afford to vtec it evrywhere all the time due to high petrol prices so i guess i will have to look at the dizzy,ht leads and spark plugs again. It maybe the ecu needs a bit more running time to adjust perfectly as its just been reset and i need to do an oil change sometime soon.

on the plus side since i finished the polybushing the handling is as sharp as a knife just need fine tune the engine and then get the body panels fitted :P

yes im glad i got it all sorted straight away - had some help from si import - and i got lucky with the mani and downpipe as they were an exact match for what got smashed in the pothole :)
i might take it to a garage to have the tracking checked and have a good look to make sure that the alloy and tyre werent damaged in any way.

Sorry to see your woes, but glad everythings now sorted.
It's the same round here too :( I've been dodging potlikes like crazy for the past week.
I'm always weary about where I park my car too, as I'm afraid some little scrotes going to damage it

HH nope it was one of the batch I made. I had them done on a CNC and anodised. I sold about 20 in total. I let that red one go with the car. There were a few goodies I should of took off it before I sold it for its doom
