I collect swords and have done for many years. I have everything from Replicas to Battle Ready hand forged items.

This company offer some bargains.

Check out the Dent and Scratch blow outs for cheap functional swords.

My best sword is a Damascus Steel Katana that has been folded 2048 times. It has a Faux ivory hilt in the same style as the Dragon hilt from Highlander the series. It was a special edition in limited numbers and is now unavailable.

As for the Legalities you can by any sword "made in the traditional way of ancient sword making"

Recasts, like the chinese crap with Stainless Steel 220 or 440 on the blade are illegal for sale. Not many people know That only applies to Curved blades which is nuts. So you can buy a straight blade sword no problem.

I had to wait two months to get my Damascus Katana from Customs as it was a sword. Idiots!! It evejn had "hand forged katana" written on the package. I had to send them all the legal guidance before they would release it.

This is the sword i have

I paid a LOT more than that when i bought it (and not from them) but they may have other sword deals on.

I have a couple of Chen Chao-Po (Paul Chen) katana's which are my babies they are beautiful pieces. I have some cheap show type katana's also.

Some knives. I've been after a real butterfly knife for many years but being more illegal than owning a nuke they are hard to come by lol.

Edited.. Because pbryant knight has explained the leggal side perfectly :) lol

the only way you for sure get a butterfly or a jack/flick is by going over to europe and buying it yourself and bringing it home. Not that I would advocate that but.....

@p_bryant: i have a set of three very much like that but the detail on the hilt is much more pronounced. Nice pieces but I wouldn't rate them against a bamboo pole for more than a couple of strikes, would you?

Roll on summer and a nice new forged hand and a half b@stard sword.
