I discounted it though, 'cause I assumed that the 'first registered' date related to the VIN, rather than the number plate?
Would need someone that's used to swapping private plates about on cars to answer that.
Are we absolutely sure it's not been imported? If not from jdm land, it could have been from Ireland? The bb4 I picked up last week was an irish import, so it's first registered date was a long long time after its manufactured date.
