Hmmm. I might give the decorators caulk thing a go. A bit of sellotape over the end of it should help, too.

Och, Davey, it's only a bit of a laugh. Sure, the guy was offering a bit of advice but you have to admit it was a touch on the duff side. A little knowledge is a dangerous thing and all that.
