lol i know i know, i dont drive hard all the time very rarely too be honest, i did it once saw the smoke and did it again and saw the smoke havnt done it since

Thinking a bit more, White smoke can also be weak mixture (too lean) and I guess that might be more obvious at the top end???

Not sure what might cause that if that's what it is though?

i only know in a diesel that white smoke at high revs is valve stem seals on the way out ;)
so maybe redline in yours is putting strain on your valves :?:
have you reset your gaps :?: not expensive job or free if you know how ;) makes a difference :P

I think that's more of an expression; unless an upchange is inappropriate (overtaking, for example) then 7K's enough usually.

But the poor thing's only got 197 BHP so driving it like one stole it is usually the order of the day...

Unsurprisingly, mine huffs & puffs a bit & does like to drink oil. Much of which appears to be on the exhaust finishers.
