Re: lucas' 4th gen - wire tuck update
That was my concern!
Im just going to keep it in the engine bay!
I will hide it under the inlet haha

Re: lucas' 4th gen - wire tuck update
im not too fussy, I am however thinking about getting a skunk2 inlet
how much remapping is involved with a skunk 2?
and if anyone has one installed.. from what i saw, is there alot less hoses and do i need a different map sensor ?
sorry if thats a mega no0b question from a long standing member but ive never dealt with one

skunk2 inlet would require proper ecu imo
such as hondata, aem or something
then tuning session, cost soon mounts up
I would say not bother unless you plan on doing engine build/work
don't need new map sensor, I think less hoses/clutter

Thanks lude-dude, I do plan on doing a bit of work on the engine, and I did figure id need a new ecu
But... as they look 10x better and as there is less clutter its a winner
Going to cost a BOMB.. but will be worth it

Re: lucas' 4th gen - wire tuck update
Well i got my AEM from @4th Gen doug and it actually took me about 15 mins to unwrap it it was that well wraped

I tried to take off the big sticker carefully so I can paint but I wrecked it
Going to try n get another though!
So I just carefully masked up the serial numbers instead and prepared it for paint

So.. I never primered it, I WAS going to give it a metallic silver basecoat to make the colour pop.. however.. I thought it leave it red to see the effect and im glad I did!!

That was the second coat... and this is the third

And this is after a few coats of lacquer
Not even flattened and polished it yet!!
Look at that colour pop !!
