Thanks for the pointers but we are 99% sure it is the loom. Not a problem Wurly so don't feel bad. When you prod the wiring it gets rid of the misfire.

Super Lap Scotland 2016 Round 6
Direction - Reverse
Conditions - Over cast and drizzly at times

After fixing my intermittent injector issue the final round of Super Lap Scotland went ok. I qualified 3rd and in the final put in a lap that was good enough for 3rd, only missing out on 2nd by 7 hundredths of a second. The car felt good and I was only half a second slower than last year with a slower car.

also in the first video at about 08:48, flash in the background coming round a corner, then zoom shot 11:46. Basically, they have now accepted that yours is the sexiest car there and they have to start showing it

So how did you do overall?
Those F&F cars get around btw - the supra and Mitsubishi were at Jae the previous weekend

not seen the silver skyline rep before though

Also I have another question...
Who is SLS sponsored by, Alistair?
I've watched the video twice now, but I'm still not sure! I think the presenter is a bit rubbish at giving airtime to sponsors if I'm honest

good result for round 6
i thought the RX8 wasnt going to make the final as it had pulled off to the side of the track during practice and qualifying

SLS was super competative this year

Yeah F was tough this year with 5 quite different cars all capable of winning the class on the day.

Is it just the engine that's different to last year?

If so would you say you've noticed the power difference or more confident/fearless driver?

Down on peak power from last year but also 50 kg lighter. But the race engine has so much more grunt in the low-mid rev range so I am missing that this year. Last year I was 155 whp/T Vs 134 whp/T this year (measured at peak whp).

This year was new discs and pads but I was still using two tyres from last year. I know I am driving better as I learn more and gain experience, braking was one of my biggest improvements this year.

My PB's from the last 3 years in normal direction:

2014 - 170 wph 60.6s
2015 - 155 whp 60.4s
2016 - 134 whp 61.0s

I think if I had 170 whp again I'd be well under a minute.
