Awesome this is. Undone all the bolts, took the beam off, lowered the sump but I can't get the manifold off. 1 of the 2 bolts that the 1st and 2nd part are bolted too had rounded. I can't slide the sump around it either so I'm stuck on what to do?
After I took the centre beam out I tightened the bolts it was covering and they were really loose, 2 were finger tight!
If there's no way of gettin it off I'm going to seal it as best I can with like a 3cm gap working space
and do them quite tight and see how it goes until I can order a new gasket and take the car to work and Oxy the rounded nut and put a new one in.
Ergh not a great day I'm having :L
EDIT: I don't think the gasket was sitting properly either and there is quite a lot of copper sealent so I'm gana clean it up as best I can

Right, all back together and as far as I can tell its all good. Il give it a blast in the morning but hopefully it's stopped (for now)
The gasket is in pretty bad shape, it's split in about 3 places and a fair amount of sealant had been used. So I tied as best I could to re seal it it. Torqued all the bolts up and yeah seams ok but I'm not too happy as he told me it had been all sorted :/
I couldn't put one of the bolts that hold that beam up at the back but I'm sure it'll be ok if I'm going to change the gasket soon.
Thanks for all the help guys

nope started leaking again today on the way to brighton
Its not as bad but still leaking !
I'm going to take it to a garage to get the new gasket put in, I'm happy to do it myself but it killed me laying on the floor for 3 hours and I dont have the time atm. That and this way i know its been done properly so i can forget about that going wrong again :/
Not too happy as the rad fan needs changing and theres a small crack at the very top of the rad which ive chemicled metaled up until i can afford a new one.....the list keeps getting bigger and bigger lol
