Good shout, I was watching a video about adjusting the TPS at the weekend as its something I've not yet done on my car. It was a common tweak on my old Suzuki SV650 to improve low-end throttle response.
The video I watched said you can simply remove the connector on the TPS while the car is running; if the idle problem disappears then the TPS is causing the problem.
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.

Is there any way of spotting the difference between Tein coilovers? I'm about to order the spring from USA, but I don't really know which one I need. There are 2 types: 200mm lenght on Flexis, 250mm on Street Basis and Street Advanced. According to my measurement my spring is 190mm. It's hard to tell precisely, because 2 coils are detached. Still, it's closer to 200mm mark, rather than 250mm. I would assume that I''ve got Flexis, however, the top mounts on my coilovers are OEM. As far as I know Flexi can't be installed with OEM top mounts. I'm kinda lost..

Is there a dealer/service location near you that you could take it into and ask?
http://www.tein.co.uk/dealer_list/deale ... m&attr=ALL
Could even then try the 'this is crap, surely it shouldn't have snapped' line on them and see if they'll do you a reasonable price on the replacement?
