NATIONAL MEET- R.C. offroad track. Interest?

great, we will have a real selection of different sizes and vehicle shape. I will ask the farmer and mow a clean track in one of the grass fields. Going off track is going to mean getting in the serious rough if it all goes to plan.

Do you have some crates/platform for us to stand on?

Also, what frequencies do people have? I'm still on the old 27Mhz range and don't have a second crystal so can't change what I use!!

Sadly this is all I ever hear regarding nitro cars.. this and the fact that after almost every run something breaks and you have to order parts off the internet to fix them.

by ''wont run'' what do you mean? cant get it to fire? cant get it to tick over? cant get it to WOT? or all of the above? is the engine new? did you follow run in proceedure? give me some info.

@bb1boy thats the hobby i'm afraid mate. I have had this car for about 7 years and it has been in bits or forgotten about due to breakage for 90% of its life. When its running right, and before you wrap it round a tree stump or something, they are great fun. Imagine what owning nirto planes is like

Hardy, since it's looking like we won't have a car to re-wire at this years meet, you could always bring along your broken RC car and people can fix that instead?

I cant seem to get mine to go full ''INSANITY'' mode

I wonder if its the glow plug but i cant seem to get the revs up into the screaming killer hornet range i'm used to. It is very hot today though and the chassis has been fully rebuilt last winter so it could just need some more tweeking.

I am sure that the people with electric and 2stroke petrol will be laughing at us all as we huddle in a group stinking of dragsters and failure
